Russian Salad

Serves: 4 Prep. time: 25 minutes Category: Non-Veg Salad
For main recipe
125gms French beans
125gms carrots - chop and boil
125 gms potatoes - chop and boil
1/2 cupgreen peas - shell and boil
1  egg - boil
  salt and pepper to taste
1  apple or 2 slices of pineapple chop
1cupboiled chicken or meat or fish
2 Yolks of egg and/whole egg
1/2tsp salt
1/2tsp white pepper
1/2tsp mustard
2tsp sugar
1tsp vinegar
1 1/2cupsalad oil
  Juice of 1 lemon
1. Beat egg yolk till fluffy, add mustard and beat.
2. Add 1/3 of oil drop by drop, then 1/3 of oil one teaspoon by one teaspoon, add rest of oil at once.
3. Add pepper, salt and sugar beating all the time.
4. Add vinegar and lastly add lime juice, mix well and cool.
5. Add vegetables, and chicken/meat/fish and serve.
