Paneer Masala

500Gm Paneer - cut into 1/2"x 2" pieces
2number Onion - grated
3number Tomatoes - grated
2 tbsp Poppy seeds
6 numberGarlic cloves
1&1/2"  Ginger piece
3 - 4 number Green Cardamoms
5 - 6numberCloves
1tspRed chilli powder
1/2tspTurmeric powder
1/2cupOil or Ghee
  Salt to taste
1. Half fry paneer pieces and keep aside.
2. Grind garlic, poppy seeds and ginger to a paste.
3. Heat oil and saute onion till they turn brown. Cook on a low flame.
4. Add the ground paste, salt and the dry spices. Saute for a few minutes.
5. Add the grated tomatoes, about 125 ml of water, mix well and boil the gravy.
6. Add paneer and heat for a while. Switch off the flame.
7. Garnish with coriander leaves.
