In a 1-1.5 L bowl, cream the butter and sugar very well till light and fluffy. |

Add the egg, beat thoroughly. Add banana and carrot. |

Add the flour and milk simultaneously to the bowl and mix thoroughly. |

Take about 10cmX20cm glass or any microwavable dish and grease the inner sides. |

Pour the contents of the bowl into the dish. |

Sprinkle the raisins and cashew pieces (Optional) |

Cook in a microwave oven at Medium setting for about 12 minutes. |

Cover the dish with a plate and allow the banana loaf to stand for 5 minutes. |
