Potato Chaat/ Aloo Chaat

Serves: 2 Prep. time: 30 minutes Category: Dry Snack
1/4cupTamarind pulp
1teaspoonRed chilli powder
4 tbspoonOil
  Salt as per taste
100gmsNylon sev (Optional)
  Coriander leaves - chopped
1. Boil, cool, peel and chop the potatoes.
2. Chop the onions.
3. Heat oil in a deep pan and fry the chopped onions till translucent. Add the potatoes and stir fry for a minute.
4. Add raisins, tamarind pulp, jaggery, salt and chillie powder.
5. Add a little water to dissolve jaggery and salt, and mash a few potato pieces. Heat till the water evaporates.
6. Cool. Garnish with coriander leaves and Sev.
