Cucumber and Gram Salad

Serves: 4 Prep. time: 20 minutes Category: Veg Salad
5  cucumbers peeled
2-3 tsp salt
1/4 cup gram roasted
2  green chillies chopped
2 tsp coconut grated
   few coriander leaves chopped
1. Cut cucumbers in quarters lengthwise and then into small pieces.
2. Add salt and leave for half an hour. Strain off liquid.
3. Tie up in a piece of cloth and drain with a heavy weight on top.
4. Lightly pound the gram and add it to the cucumbers with the rest of the ingredients.

Serving ideas:
Chill and serve.
