Spring Onion Parathas with Chinese Stuffing

Serves: 4-6 Prep. time: 35 minutes Category: Chinese Cuisine
For the parathas
AmtUnitIngredients
2teacupsplain flour (maida)
1teacupwheat flour (gehun ka atta)
4 teaspoons oil
1/2teaspoonsalt
Directions:
1. Mix the flours, oil and salt and make a dough by adding enough water.
2. Knead the dough well and keep for 1/2 hour. Knead again.
3. Roll out the dough into 6" to 7" diameter rounds (parathas).
For the stuffing
AmtUnitIngredients
2teacupsspring onions with leaves chopped
1tablespoonoil
1 pinch aji-no-moto
  salt to taste
  oil and ghee for cooking
Directions:
1. Heat the oil and fry the spring onions for 1 minutes. Add Aji-no-moto and salt.
2. Cook for only 1 minute. Cool.
Main Procedure
Directions:
1. Spread the stuffing on one paratha. Place another paratha on the top.
2. Spread a little oil on both sides and cook on a tava until crisp.
3. Cut into pieces and serve hot.
