Potato Besan Sev

AmtUnitIngredients
500gramspotatoes
onecupbesan (gram flour)
  Salt as per taste
1/2teaspoonred chilli powder
1/4teaspoonasafoetida
one teaspoonOil to fry
Directions:
1. Boil, cool, peel and mash the potatoes till a smooth paste is formed.
2. Add besan, salt, red chilli powder, asafoetida and one teaspoon of oil and knead into a soft dough adding a little water if necessary.
3. Heat oil in a deep frying pan and pass the dough through a sev mould directly into the hot oil. Reduce heat and fry to a very light brown.
4. Drain, cool and store in airtight containers
