Paneer Cutlets

Serves: 8-10 Prep. time: 30 minutes Category: Snacks
4tbspmaida - plain flour
1/2tspred chilli powder
200gmspaneer grated
5 big potatoes boiled
  bread crumbs
1. Heat oil. Cook maida for 1 - 2 minutes on low heat.
2. Add milk, stirring continuously.
3. Cook till a thick lump is formed. Remove from fire. Add grated paneer.
4. Add mashed or grated boiled potatoes.
5. Mix well. Add salt, pepper, chilli powder.
6. Make balls. Flatten each ball and give it a heart shape.
7. Roll in bread crumbs. Chill the prepared cutlets for some time. Shallow fry in a small quantity of oil in a pan.

Serving ideas:
Serve with boiled vegetables sauted in a little butter.

Dip the cutlet in beaten egg, then roll in bread crumbs and shallow fry. This gives a thicker outer covering to the cutlet.
